About this vehicle This 2009 Volkswagen Routan is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is used as a daily driver. Vehicle Details This van has been great to us, and we just took a trip to Florida and back with it over the summer without issue (2,500 miles round trip). This is a very sharp looking van, and much nicer than 95% of the ones we spent a month looking at when trying to find a mini van to cart our three kids around in. Just this year we have about $3000 worth of receipts including the new wheels and tires that come with the van (see photos). The roof rack does not come with the van, and will be removed before we deliver, or the buyer picks it up. It has had a Recent alignment, oil change on top of new struts, front brakes, control arm bushings, radiator and A/C condenser with a recharge on the A/c just in the beginning of August. Heat works great, and A/C is ice cold! Heated seats work amazing as well. We average 22mpg on highway trips and around 16.8 around town. Full disclosure, the trans makes a vibration noise if you accelerate hard off the line, and our mechanic has told us the torque converter is the culprit, but too keep driving it unless it gets worse. We just ease on the accelerator upon taking off from a stop, and it’s completely fine. It has been like that since January, and we still drive it without issue 4-5 days a week since it never got any worse. We paid $7200 for this van with 109k miles on it, and it has served us incredibly well, but we need a four door diesel pickup to tow a camper with, so as soon this Routan sells, we will be upgrading.
