This was my baby, my well-cared for 2009 Subaru Forester 2.5 XT Limited (all-wheel drive) with just 153,911 miles (fully loaded with leather seats, seat heaters, and extra large power sunroof)! We’ve been through a lot together and made some great memories! It is also a fabulous car in the snow and great for hauling your stuff as the seats lie completely flat. It has roof rails, so you can attach crossbars and also has a trailer hitch. Due to the engine beginning to prematurely fail, we need to part ways. However, MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN!
This is a dream for a skilled mechanic since you can just drop-in another engine and you’ll be good to go. It’s a very reliable and safe car for you, your family, or your child. Great for the college student! If you are a re-seller for parts, this is a dream for you, too since there is so much quality left in this car and will serve you very well.
The car is in fantastic shape inside and out as I took good care of it, just a few scratches and little dings that are normal for its age. No accidents. It has great tires, new front wheel bearings, rotors, pads, and radiator. Prior to the engine beginning to fail, it received new heads and a new turbo, as well. The engine is a 224-hp, 2.5 liter. The transmission is a 4-speed automatic with overdrive and auto-manual and works perfectly. It is all-wheel drive and needed in the tough Midwest climate! The color is Camellia Red Pearl and has off-black leather interior. It’s a very handsome car as you will see from my pictures.
It does start and runs rich, but I would definitely recommend that you arrange for a tow just to be safe since the engine is beginning to fail.
