Selling our well maintained 2009 Subaru Forester as we are moving out of state and will need a larger vehicle for our business. Although this Forester has a rebuilt title, it has served use very well with no major issues for the last four years and over 21,000 miles of trouble driving of this vehicle. The Forester was regularly serviced by our local reliable mechanic and tested/checked periodically at the Subaru dealership in Tysons Corner. For example, the valve cover gaskets and spark plug seals were all recently replaced to rectify the common problem on these vehicles whereby the hardening of the rubber on the gasket and seals cause oil to leak from valve cover on to the spark plugs causing engine misfiring. The top and bottom radiator hoses have been replaced along with the spark plugs and wires. The the cooling system was also recently flushed. We have changed the oil every 5000 miles with synthetic oil along with the engine air filter and cabin air filter. The tires and pressure sensors were all recently replaced.
The vehicle has a panoramic sunroof, leather heated front seats; the driver"s side also has motorized adjustments. There are fog lamps installed on the vehicle The rear seating together with the steering wheel are also leather. It has an upgraded OEM Subaru 2014 Sat/Nav with Sirius multi-media system including Bluetooth connectivity including a powered 10" sub-woofer, back-up rear view camera, and back-up proximity detector/annunciator that were all especially installed by local audio and auto professionals, and which really enhance the overall driving experience. The SD card"s navigation maps are from 2014, so the navigation map data is quite up-to-date; newer versions are also available for purchase through Subaru online.
This vehicle is definitely the most reliable vehicle we have owned and it is fun to drive.
