Vehicle description
We are selling our 2009 Saturn Outlook XR AWD (all wheel drive) with 168k miles The vehicle is dark green in color "Urbane Moss Metallic" (nice and unique), has the 3.6L direct inject engine (very quick), black leather interior (heated front seats), bluetooth hands-free calling (a feature we use all of the time), a third-row 60/40 seat, both front, and very large second-row, sun roofs, and 2nd row bucket seats. The third-row seat is very accessible due to the bucket seats, and the tip-forward bucket seats make a very large cargo area, when needed. The vehicle is equipped with the towing package but we only used it a couple of times since we own a truck.
The 168k mileage is due to a lot of highway miles - my wife commuted to work with the vehicle, at around 60miles per day, until the past few years, when it has been 10 miles per day. We always took this vehicle on family vacations in the summer. . as it is a great car to travel long distances with (due to the great ride quality).
We purchased the vehicle with 65k miles and have either serviced it ourselves, or at a the local GM dealer. This vehicle, even though the Saturn brand isn"t produced any longer, can be serviced at any GM dealer, or local mechanic, as the parts are easy to find as it is the generic GM-Lambda platform, so basically mechanically the same as: Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave.
This vehicle is AWESOME on ice/snow/rain, never a slip, due to the all wheel drive, traction control, and ultra-sticky Michelin tires that are mounted. The ride is amazing, the tires are quiet, and the handling is remarkable. My wife says, "it handles like a car." This vehicle fits adults in the back seat and they can actually ride there for more than a couple minutes! The vehicle fits 7, and 6 very comfortably. . with even some cargo room in the back with the 3rd seat up!
