Vehicle description

Rare, low mileage 2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP coupe with a manual transmission. It is 1 of 1266 coupes ever produced (according to Wikipedia). I"m the original owner of this vehicle. It was purchased from Mastria Buick Pontiac GMC in Massachusetts and shipped to Texas in August 2009. The vehicle has been garage kept for the entirety of its life.
This car also comes with a few extras and upgrades, all of which are supplied by GM Performance Parts:
- -Stage 2 turbo upgrade. This includes both hardware and software from GM and boosts the engine to 290 horsepower and 340 ft. lbs. of torque. It definitely added some pep to the car.
- -Z0K (FE3) suspension package. This was not installed at the factory but aftermarket, however, the parts comes straight from GM. It includes, front and rear shocks, springs, sway bars and a stiffer rear differential support beam. It lowered the car by 1-2" and made a huge, huge difference in the handling. It really corners so much better with this suspension. This upgrade is what really made the car fun to drive. I have the original suspension components if you want them.
- -Hard top storage bag. If you decide to take the top off you use this bag to store it in.
- -Extra set of GM floor mats. OK, maybe not so exciting but hopefully they will come in handy if the originals wear out.
All of that said this car does not come without flaws.
- -The first can be seen on the driver"s side interior door panel. The vinyl on panel is pulling away from it"s backing near the window controls. This seems to be a common problem as I"ve seen this in pictures of other Solstice, however the passenger panel is fine.
- -Second, for the sake of full disclosure, this car was broken into in October 2018. This broke the passenger window and damaged some moulding around the window. It was repaired by Texas Speed and Restoration in Royce City, TX, shortly thereafter. There is some residual damage from this due to the availability of parts. If you look closely in some of the pictures you should be able to see them. There is a pinhole in the weatherstripping around the windshield pillar and the window moulding on the door panel has some minor bends (there is metal inside that moulding). I think this could be taken off and easily straightened. This car was recently inspected by a local Volvo dealer and they were unable to notice the flaws until I pointed them out. If you pull a CARFAX this incident will show up on the records but I"m not sure if it will show up on an Autocheck.
