About this vehicle This 2009 Pontiac G5 is a restored vehicle. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes Grear Buy! Vehicle Details Hello friends, I started restoring this car for a new friend in order to help her out. When the restoration was taking too long for her, she offered to sell it to me and I continued to restore it from there in my spare time. I have kept all receipts and have invested an estimated $1900-2300 in mostly new parts and a little in labor and service fees. The only things that I think might still to be replaced are the front struts, plus the front strut-cones could use a little paint restoration. It runs super strong with no apparent engine problems at all and accelerates quite hard making it quite fun to drive when you get on it. However, it might still need a few aging gaskets replaced here n there according to the engine codes over the next few years but you can't tell by the feel. She is strong! The transmission shows no apparent sign of wear and still feels nice and tight. I should also mention that it was a 2 OWNER car with her Uncle and Aunt being the original owners. I will try to list everything here that I replaced: I changed the oil and the oil and air filters, replaced the leaking exhaust flex hose, the 2 VVT Solenoids (Variable Valve Timing), $170 battery, Driver's Interior door handle, 15" gently used Alloy Wheels, Rear Brake Drums, Cylinders and Drum Kit, 2 brand new 'Sentury Touring Tires, repaired the only rock chip in the windshield, plus lots of extras! With 155 original hp the Pontiac G5 makes a Great powerful 1st car and a great daily driver! Very efficient being the xfe model. XFE stands for Extra Fuel Efficiency. It's listed as 25mpg in the city 37mpg on the Highway thanks to the Variable Valve Timing Solenoids combined with the 5 speed manual transmission and lightweight 15" allow wheels! With the approximately $2000 in parts and service costs invested this car myself, it is easily worth the $3,200 at these 234,106 easy miles.
