| “This is a daily driver that has been very reliable and is still driving well. The car has had one owner since 2012. Engine running great, Tranny good. I do all my own repairs and maintenance including synthetic oil change every 5000 miles. Recently replaced tires, pads, rotors, spark plugs, ignition coils. A/C compressor replaced within last 2 years. No Major repairs. So what's wrong with it?1. It needs new ABS speed sensors (causing random issues with traction control). 2. It needs a new fuel sensor (not registering proper amount of fuel in the tank)3. Interior has general wear. Drivers seat has 1 1/2 inch corner tear. 4. Rear wiper needs replacement, probably also front wipers.5. Exterior paint good overall, some areas of wear. See pics. 6. This is a daily driver that has been very reliable and is still driving well. The car has had one owner since 2012. Engine running great, CVT Transmission good. I do all my own repairs and maintenance including synthetic oil change every 5000 miles. Recently replaced tires, pads, rotors, spark plugs, ignition coils. A/C compressor replaced within last 2 years. No Major repairs.
So what"s wrong with it? 1. It needs new ABS speed sensors (causing random issues with traction control). 2. It needs a new fuel sensor (not registering proper amount of fuel in the tank) 3. Interior has general wear. Drivers seat has 1 1/2 inch corner tear. 4. Rear wiper needs replacement, probably also front wipers. 5. Exterior paint good overall, some areas of wear. See pics. 6. Service Engine Soon light is on to indicate time for general service and oil change.
Note about CVT transmissions (caused confusion with previous buyer who did not want to follow-through on sale due to lack of knowledge on CVT characteristics): The transmission is continuously variable meaning it is normal for it to sound higher pitch and you don"t feel the transmission shifts as you would with a standard automatic transmission. The fluid is also not the standard red color but is golden brown, it also comes as blue and green in color. The CVT transmission is unique to a few vehicles including the Nissan Rogue and Nissan Altima.
The CVT transmission on this vehicle is running normally and smoothly. You will need to put CVT fluid in the transmission as normal automatic fluid will damage it.
Why am I selling it? I"ve got 3 other vehicles and don"t need it any longer.
