Vehicle description
2009 Mercury Mariner Hybrid Great running car with fantastic mileage!
I purchased this SUV a few years back from a company in Florida that had obtained it from the original owner who were seasonal Florida snow-birds. This was their "Florida car" that they would use in winter, and garage in summer while they were "back home" in the northeast. That"s why it only had about 60,000 miles on it when I purchased it. It sat in their garage for 50% of it"s life - waiting for them to come back!
It"s been a great car, but I am buying a full electric car now, and need the $ out of this one to make that new purchase. My loss is your gain. I love these vehicles! ! Previously I owned a 2006 Ford Escape Hybrid that I racked up 246,000 miles on before it finally had a catastrophic engine failure. You can"t kill these CVT transmission! They just keep going . . and going . . I expect that this SUV will also last well past 200K if you keep up the routine maintenance on it.
When I got the vehicle - I added the front bumper guard (gave it a classier look) and a small Reese hitch on the back for light towing. It really is a great looking and driving vehicle!
The only imperfection that I know of is a small burn mark on the passenger seat in front. It was there when I purchased the vehicle. As far as I know the vehicle was not smoked in by the previous owners, so I can"t imagine what caused the burn mark. I do not smoke either. I checked and you could get a replacement seat cover for about $100. on EBAY if you are so inclined.
BID WITH CONFIDENCE as this vehicle has to be gone so I can get my new one!
