Vehicle description
Selling a 2009 RX-8 R3 Aurora Blue Mica. There are only 555 of these vehicles made. The car comes stock from a smoke-free home with a cargo tray and a spare tire. Parts used to mount the spare tire can be included but you will need to install it yourself. The tires are continental extremecontact dws. I have added Wincos IR Rejection Film which rejects IR up to 92%. The tint is 35% in the front and 20% in the rear windows. Comes with 1 key fob.
There are some dents from people opening their door against the car as well as some scuffs on the rims.
I did a compression test back in June 2017. Here are the results:
Rotor 1: 720, 730, 730 @ 261 rpm
Rotor 2 : 720, 740, 730 @ 260 rpm See the compression test results in the pictures. The compression test is still within the acceptable range, but it can cause the engine to flood if you don"t warm up the car before shutting down, and as the engine"s compression decreases, this can happen more frequently. The engine will eventually need to be rebuilt. These are known issues for Mazda RX-8"s due to their rotary engine and apex seals and you should only bid if you accept these issues.
The car is located in Orlando, FL and I am the first owner. The car engine has only flooded once due to the cold weather, not warming the car up before shutting down, weak battery, and weak starter. The car was then de-flooded and a new battery, battery connector, and starter has been installed. The car still works. I can provide a copy of the carfax.

Bring your own or get one when we"re at the tax collector"s office. This sale is only for the cost of the car. A bill of sale (form 82050) will be provided, which will be notarized by both buyer and seller. Buyer needs to fill out the title transfer form 82040 and submit It to the tax collector.
This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. This comes with a clear title and the vehicle is sold as-is. The manufacture warranty has run out. Buyer should inspect the vehicle before purchasing.
