Up for sale is a 2009 Maserati GranTurismo S MC-Shift. Only 300 GTS were imported to North America this year. Of those 300, only 100 had the F1 package. Makes this beast very rare! ! This is a Ferrari in disguise. The power plant is the same as the Ferrari F430. The only difference is that Maserati has longer pistons. The transmission is the same out of the Ferrari 599 GTO"s. This transmission is actually a transaxle and torque tube setup, being located in the back of the car, instead of being bolted directly behind the engine as in a standard GranTurismo, This gives the added advantage, besides lightning quick shifts, of giving the car a completely balanced 50/50 weight distribution. It is also equipped with the fixed Trofeo suspension, no Skyhook. The fixed Trofeo suspension drastically improves handling over the standard Skyhook adjustable suspension, and is similar to the suspension Maserati uses on their Trofeo race cars. The car is in great condition with 32k miles (Mileage will go up a bit as it is driven). As you can see from the pictures the car is in amazing shape and has been taken care of! Yes, It"s 10 years old. Interior still smells like new. Black alcantara is everywhere in this car. It splits the leather in the seats and the whole headliner is finished in alcantara. The stitching is almost a highlighter yellow. The true MC-shifts are leather and alcantara blended seats and finished headliner. Maserati put a new clutch in almost one year ago. It has more than 90% life left. I have a full PPI for only buyers that are truly interested. I paid $500 just for the PPI. Car has just been serviced with a new battery and sport filters. Installed spacers on the wheels. Gives it the aggressive look it should have had from the factory. Crystalline windshield is new as well. The car is loud, beautiful and rare. Don"t miss out.
