Vehicle description
2008 VW Jetta
I’ve owned this car for three years (two years of use) and I wouldn’t part with it if I didn’t have to. I moved abroad 11 months ago and was expecting to come back to America this summer, but I have decided to stay abroad for another year and my parents don’t want to store the car in the garage anymore, so here is a breakdown of the car.
Interior: No major issues with the interior, the front seats are super comfortable and feel stable even on sharp fast turns. The sound system in the car is amazing. My sister has a 2010 VW Eos and the Jetta makes the Eos sound like an iPhone 5 speaker. Aux cord jack is in the middle hatch. Trunk is massive. The interior lighting on the dashboard is a really good looking blue and red, which makes it seem like a new car.
Exterior: There are some minor scratches and one or two very small dents on the outside, but still looks great. The unique blue paint makes the car look so much better than the same or even newer Jetta models that are grey or white. I don’t know why they don’t have more of this great color. There is a small crack on the outside of the driver’s sideview mirror, but to hasn’t caused me any problems in the three years I’ve had it and can also be easily replaced.
Additional: If I wasn’t moving, I wouldn’t be selling this car. I have driven it all over the country and Canada and haven’t had any engine problems at all. The combination of the five cylinder engine, the manual shift, and the German handling make the Jetta feel like a sports car. I will definitely be purchasing something similar when I come back home for good. Also, it has a full tank of gas right now, so buy my blue, four door child and drive her into the sunset.
