Vehicle description
The engine was just repaired (new oil pump, rod bearings, and crank shaft polish). After the repair there is still a knock on the engine. It does start and drive fine, but I do not feel confident in this engine anymore. So assume that the engine needs a rebuilt or a swap. The car is sold AS-IS and the sale is final. I will not accept a return if you assume that the engine is fine, get the car, rev it and don"t like it.
Buyer is responsible for arranging transportation.
This is a hard top convertible. The roof completely automatically retracts into the trunk. It can also open the sunroof separately from the whole roof. It is an amazing car for nice weather!
Pros: - The engine was swapped about 7K miles ago. - Timing belt was change at the engine swap time. - Unitronic Stage 1 tune (91 octane) - Cold air intake - 3 inch downpipe - Forged BOV - Boost Gauge - Oil catch can - New OEM cam followers - Iridium spark plugs - FelPro valve cover gasket set - New OEM pcv valve - New AC compressor - New water pump - Audi S3 18 inch rims with good tires on them - New oil pump - Engine likely needs a new crank shaft and rod bearings - Tires are in great condition and have a lot of thread left (see pictures) - Sunroof works - The car has no leaks. - Transmission, clutch, and chassis are in great condition. - AC is fully working. - All the buttons and functions work inside. - Fresh oil
Cons: - The body has a lot of small dings and scratches. Look closely at the pictures. - Driver"s side door has clear coat faded at the top - Small ding in front of the rear driver"s side wheel - Couple of small cracks in the interior (in general interior is very good for the year) - Earlier mentioned engine problem
The service notification has to be reset. The oil was changed 50 miles ago.
The car has current registration in Florida. I will keep my plate, you get the title and are responsible for transportation or registering it elsewhere. Florida registration was paid a month ago. No tickets or any outstanding balances.
