Selling my 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. 106,970 original miles. This one is the better trim, with factory navigation and silver 18" BBS wheels. Turbocharged 2.5 liter H4 engine, 6 speed manual transmission, Brembo brakes, HID headlights, leather/alcantara interior.
Car has some modifications. Built motor by DDA tuned in NY, ~10k miles ago (Manley H-beams, Wiseco pistons, ARP head studs) Invidia turboback exhaust Cobb intake Cobb accessport (tuned) HKS blow off valve New stock STI turbo (5000 miles old) Brand new Achilles tires all the way around Clutch (from previous owner) Secondary air pump deleted New alternator Oil change performed 100 miles ago LED light bar (wiring not connected) Front plate relocation mount Just detailed
This car has a clean NY title, but was a manufacturer buyback vehicle back in 2008. Subaru had a stop sale in 2008, when these cars first came out. A bunch were sold, and had to be bought back by Subaru corporate, because they had engine issues (over ignition) without a fix at the time. It was later remedied with a computer flash. Google will tell you. This car has a built motor, and is out of warranty anyway, due to age/mileage. If it was 2008 right now, this would make a difference, but being that it"s 2018, all 2008 vehicles are out of warranty.
Car drives great. Adult owned. Driver seat bottom as some wear. I am trying to find an upholstery place to see if they can fix that. The alcantara middle part of the driver seat is worn away. Other than that, the car is in overall good shape for a 10 year old car.
Sale isn"t limited to local buyers. If you"re out of state, I can have the car transported to you (paid by you. I do have friends in the transport business, with very competitive rates). Also, if you need better pictures, or of specific areas, let me know, and I will try to provide. Car is parked away, so mileage shouldn"t go up significantly, if any.
