One of 380 Spec B"s made in 2008 in gray. Only 765 of these cars were made (all colors) between 2008-2009 (mid-generation facelift). Odds are, if you are looking at this listing, you are probably already "in the know" on what this car is - an excellent daily driver, a "sleeper" sports sedan.
250hp (factory-rated at crank) with a turbocharged boxer-4, paired to an STI 6-speed (a bulletproof transmission with mechanical shift linkage) with longer 5th and 6th gears for highway cruising. This car can get 28mpg, and keeps you awake at the wheel :)
This is a fine example of the car with higher than average miles, but its excellent condition with a stack of maintenance records. Cars with half the mileage can go for over double my asking price, and the car still have excellent life left in it. Previous owners (2) cared for the car and recorded all the details. In the last few weeks, I have added: new brake calipers, rotors, and pads; new struts and springs (all 4 corners). The engine and drivetrain are all stock. Interior is in excellent cosmetic condition, brand new steering wheel (leather OEM) and shift boots (leather). Exterior condition is great. Engine and transmission are strong and smooth.
Timing belt, idlers, pulleys, water-pump, STI clutch, pressure plate, TOB, and flywheel replaced @ 156k miles (3 years ago). See maintenance spreadsheet attached.
