Up for sale is my son"s 2008 Subaru Legacy GT spec.B. The spec.B is a limited run model that included STi forged internals, including the 6-speed manual transmission, from the factory. It turned an otherwise fun car into the ultimate safe, reliable sleeper.
This car in particular has been meticulously maintained and has remained completely stock for the entirety of it"s life. Other than all-weather floormats, there is not a single aftermarket part on this car. I have an entire booklet of service records dating back to the original purchase order of the car. All major and minor services are documented with receipts and invoices. A picture of the clean Carfax can be found at the end of the pictures.
The car has also received over $7,000 in maintenance and repairs over the past year and a half. Within the last 5,000 miles, the car has had the engine entirely rebuilt from the ground up including a new head, new pistons, a new head-gasket, water pump, timing belt, bearings, oil pump and crankshaft, performed by Broken Boxer of Bath, NY.
Also, the transmission was completely rebuilt with a new clutch including the plate, disc, and throw out bearing all by Broken Boxer.
Other replaced items include a new radiator and an entirely new cooling system including hoses, caps, etc by Owen"s garage of Carmel, NY (also a Subaru specialist). Overall mechanically excellent.
The interior is in like-new condition as well. All buttons work including the touch-screen navigation system. The exterior shows like a NICE 8 year old vehicle as the car was always garaged in the winter so there is absolutely no rust, no dings, no gashes etc. Minor scratches can be found on the front and rear bumper from regularly being street parked in NYC.
