Vehicle description
Owned since 2011, bought from Cascade in Cuyahoga Falls, for my son for high school and college. He dropped it off in my driveway in May because his mom gave him her 2008 Lexus, with 10,000 less miles. Honesty, after seeing it, I would have kept the Subaru. Of course, after dropping the car off, it needed some repairs due to a typical teenager, now almost college graduate, and their seemingly lack of communication and just plain stupidity of trying to figure out why the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor, or why the wipers do not rest where they used to, or why the car seems to be idling a little rough, or why the air does not blow cold. Oh wait, if I turn up the radio and roll the windows down and open the sunroof, the noises will go away and off I go. . .
Anyhow, the car has new tires and factory rims, was a Christmas present this past Christmas, air conditioner was repaired last summer, has new master cylinder, new front calipers, new spark plugs, new plug wires, new coil. All this was done last week at Cascade Subaru. Car does have cosmetic dings, scratches and dare I say a little bit of rust above the passenger side rear tire. All of this typical of a kid not being aware of his surrounding when parking on the streets of Columbus.
So after spending 5 hours cleaning the inside and finding a Chipotle gift card underneath the spare tire in the trunk, yeah in the trunk, under the mat, under the tire, with a $3.75 balance on it and pulling a trash bag worth of receipts dating back to 2011, from various fast food places, from underneath the front seats, a metal water bottle, from some Fraternity in Columbus, with water still in it. Threw that out, didn"t even open it. . I have decided to sell it, because I don"t need it, after all it was his Christmas present, 7 1/2 years ago, and apparently the allure of the status of owning a Lexus is greater than the sentimental value of your first car, as a present, at Christmas! Plus, he still owes rent to the Fraternity house he moved out of last month and needs the funds from the sale of his once beloved Subaru to pay his back rent before they tar and feather him.
For Pick Up only.
