2008 Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works with 49k original miles. 1.6 L Turbo 6 speed w/ JCW package from factory. Body in great shape. No dings or dents. Heated front seats, all leather, Xenon headlamps. Almost every option can be ordered.
Engine needs some work. Runs fine at high RPM but very rough at idle. Engine code says misfire on cylinder 3. New coils and plugs but no time to spend going further into things. Great project car for someone with time and experience. Can easily drive up and load on to a transport vehicle but wouldn"t suggest driving for long distances. Update: have had a lot of questions about the source of the problem with the engine. I simply do not know at this point. Not a lot of Mini specialty repair shops in my area. Called out of town and they said be prepared for a repair deeper into the engine and if not then will be a bonus. So if you do not have experience in working on Mini engines or have the time and resource to arrange for this kind of repair please do not bid. Car is very nice in every other aspect and is worthy of a repair but just have to plan on something more serious than minor and neither of us will be disappointed. Thanks for all of the interest!
