Thanks for stopping by and checking out our 2008 Lexus GX470! We purchased it CPO in 2011 from our local Lexus dealer. At the time it had around 32,000 miles on it. Miles are currently at 74,847. (Car was driven less than 5,000 miles per year during our ownership!) It has been trouble free during our ownership, and have loved every minute of it. It is Salsa Red Mica, a rare color in the GX color pallet. More information can be found below.
Why are we selling? This GX was purchased by my folks to replace an older 2005 model. (We"ve owned 5 GX470"s over our lifetimes. Our family absolutely loved the GX470 suv, and every family member at one point had one). Soon after purchasing this GX my folks decided they wanted to buy an EV too, which now they use exclusively for local driving around town. The GX is pretty much only used when we have our annual family reunion which we all drive too and spend time together. (This car has been to Aspen, Vail, Salt Lake City, Idaho, Reno, etc.) With COVID these plans are on hold, and my folks didn"t want the car to sit idle. Therefore they are hoping it finds a good home and is enjoyed to the fullest.
These GXs are highly coveted in the off-road community for their easy, hassle free 4WD systems. The V8 is powerful and reliable, while returning respectable MPG numbers. For those who want a smaller version of the Toyota Land Cruiser this is it.
The GX comes with the following features: Lexus rear entertainment TV system w/ 2 wireless headphones and remote (never used). Sport Package SAT (XM) radio GPS w/ Mark Levinson Audio Upgraded GX460 18" chrome wheels. (like all chrome wheels, these have some pitting from age and use) Upgraded Bilstein shocks. (replaced the lexus magnetic adjustable shocks that are prone to failure. Rear airbags are still intact and working as designed.) Upgraded headlights to HID for better visibility at night Since this car has been garage kept its entire life, it is one of the possible few GXs to NOT have a cracked dashboard!
Car is free of any leaks or mechanical issues. Just had the oil serviced last week and was told on the next service it would need brakes and tires. The timing belt is also original.
Overall condition of this car is outstanding for its age. My folks are absolute perfectionists. It was always garage kept, and detailed quarterly by an outfit that came to the house. Obviously its not a brand new car, and with 12 years of age under its belt there are some very small nicks and surface scratches on it.
Included in this auction is also a complete set of Lexus rubber floor mats (not pictured) that are were used when visiting snowy areas in the winter. Also manuals and two master keys with remotes are included.

This car is being sold as-is, all new car and CPO warranties have long expired. A deposit of $500 is due at time of purchase. If you plan on having a shipper pickup the vehicle, funds must be cleared first! - Shipping fees are the buyers responsibility. Once vehicle is handed over to shipper, any damages or problems thereafter are between you and the shipper.
