Vehicle description
2008 Land Rover LR2 SE.
This has been a super reliable wonderful car for us. Family grew and it no longer suits us;
New rear brakes, the front brakes were done about 25-30,000 miles ago.
Has Volvo rims and wrapped in Pirelli RUN FLAT tires. Will come with stock rims and tires as well. Two keys, one has the shank and buttons don’t work, the other all the buttons work but no shank. Clean title. I believe we are the 2nd or 3rd owner. Family car. Automatic tiptronic. Have had no issues with transmission. Has been parked for about 8 months so may need some attention.
Has a brand new battery.
Sunroof is broken, needs to be fixed, buttons work but the front guides rotted away (an issue with these). I strapped it down but it remains slightly cracked open as a result of this. Both front seats have splits in where they are sewn together. AC works/worked. Heat works/worked. Dash has that notorious crack through it. Headliner is drooping and will need to be fixed or replaced (we drove it fine the way it is). Sometimes, rarely but at 55 mph there’s a hum up until 60 but then it goes away. Just rejected inspection, windshield wipers not working needs a new motor.
Other than that can’t think of any other issues. Have driven it across the country and back. Have some service records. TITLE IS HELD WITH USAA. Once sold I will pay off remaining balance, you are welcome to take the car sooner but title will not be available for 3-5 weeks, possibly sooner. If you buy this please take that into consideration. The vehicle is being sold as is, and the buyer accepts the delay in delivery of title. On Nov-10-20 at 16:33:43 PST, seller added the following information: I want to emphasize it has not been regularly driven in about 8 months and may need some attention. Please bid confidently but keep in mind timing for the title and that it will need some work.
