This auction is for a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (P71) that was used as a police vehicle. It has 122,882 original miles and 2926 engine hours. It is a rust-free California car. The car comes with a clear California title and recently passed a California smog test inspection (inspection report included). The car is sold without license plates. This vehicle is equipped with a 4.6L OHC SEFI V8 engine, electronic automatic overdrive transmission, 3.27 traction-lok rear axle, silicone coolant hoses, air conditioning, 8-way power driver’s seat, AM/FM radio, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power trunk release, power adjustable pedals, rear window defroster and driver/passenger side air bags. The vehicle condition is consistent with most used ten-year-old police vehicles. This car runs and drives well. The tires and brakes are good. At 82,640 miles, a new transmission was installed. The vehicle was involved in two minor accidents and the damage has been professionally repaired. There are holes which were used for police equipment located in the roof and trunk lid. (see photos) The trim panel near the rear license plate is crack but still intact. The paint on the lower rear bumper fascia is peeling. The front license plate holder is attached with one rivet. Both front doors have been painted flat black to comply with California regulations. The interior has been altered to allow for police equipment. The right spot light handle is missing. The factory dome light was removed and an aftermarket light installed. This light operates by using a rocker switch. It does not go on automatically when the doors open. The odometer display works intermittently. Its dim when the ignition key is initially turned on then becomes brighter while driving. No other parts or accessories come with this vehicle. This vehicle is owned and operated by a municipality and has always received regular preventive maintenance. Included with the sale are the service/repair records dating back to 2008, owner’s manual and original window sticker.
