Vehicle description
2008 F430 Spider. Rossa Corsa over tan leather interior with black inserts Daytona seats. This car is equipped with the highly acclaimed F1 paddle shifting transmission. It is well optioned with carbon fiber throughout the interior as well as options such as front and rear parking sensors, HiFi stereo, rear carbon Challenge grill, leather Daytona seats, red brake calipers and more. The carbon ceramic brakes are simply amazing and are in very good condition. Pads are nearly new with much life left on both the discs and pads. Tires have less than 1000 miles and factory wheels are in good condition but do have some minors scuffs and such from normal use.
This car currently has an aftermarket exhaust system installed featuring Ceramic coated Agency Power headers coupled to a full stainless S-Line exhaust. The sound is incredible! The car will also include it"s original Mark 2 headers (smoke tested and with less than 2000 miles) and valved exhaust. All of this in good condition.
Included with the car are all the books along with a second key and the original build photo book from Maranello.
The Rossa Corsa paint shows very well and the car has had a detail with paint correction so no swirl marks. There are some very minor chips in the front which have been repaired and don"t even show in pictures. Prior to my ownership, the front bumper and passenger rocker panel were resprayed due to stone chips and a scratch.
Recently the car was in for inspection and the compression is good with 165 lbs across all 8 cylinders. A clutch snap was taken and the clutch shows 51% wear. The tech noted slight play on 2 ball joints as well. While they exhibit slight wear, they are not in need of replacement yet. Along with the inspection they report minor seepage along the valve cover gaskets. This is not a leak where anything drips but just slightly seepage. Everything else was good.
There are some notable flaws in the car and they are as such. First, the drivers side window does not seal tight against the rubber seal on the top and causes a wind noise at speed. Possible adjustment? Second, inside the cabin, just above the drivers head when seated there is a small piece of the top trim that broke off. I have no idea how this happened but the car came to me this way. It has no effect on the top or its function but it can be seen when sitting in the car. Third, this car, like many Ferrari"s has some shrinkage on the dash. Mainly near the center vents.
Feel free to ask questions on anything you need. Also of note, there is a bank loan on this car. Would consider Porsche 996/997 Turbo manual trans + cash on trade.
