This is the ULTIMATE monster work truck! NOT a 2500. NOT a 3500. But a 15,000 pound GVW 4500 model. Huge Cummins diesel with a full retarder to save the brakes with heavy loads downhill. And it"s powered by the best of the modern Cummins diesels, yjr 6.7 24 valve monster. .no DEF required, and minimal emission equipment. Turbo and injectors are fresh. This truck will tow your house, cruises at 75, and gets decent fuel mileage. All mechanicals and accessories are as-new. The truck was used by a very large ranch operator in Central California until I bought it last spring.
It has a large chest height diamond plate workbench platform behind the main box back, 14 locking storage compartments. With both a frame mount receiver hitch and a goose neck hitch, you can haul heavy equipment, tow other vehicles, and literally fabricate things right there on the job. And there are enough wired in LED flood lamps on the back of the cab, to light up an entire field with daylight! They plow fields at night, using this truck to illuminate the field!
The interior is like new. It is difficult to imagine how close to showroom condition the cab and interior actually are. Same for the engine compartment. The previous ranch owner had an acre of ranch equipment, all just as nice as this truck. You"ll be impressed.
I bought it as a car hauler for my business, and it"ll tow a Full size SUV as if there was nothing back there! But when I went to register it, they told me it would be outlawed in California next spring because of California Air Resources Board regulations. So, it needs to go to some state. .any state other than California. So, I have to sell my dream truck.
With beautiful care, everything fresh, and flawless maintenance, you"d have a really tough time finding anything like this, anywhere. Tires are good, brakes are excellent, all service is current, there is no body damage, the paint on the cab is beautiful, and the work areas are not dented or damaged. If you repainted the utility body and bed, it would be hard to tell from a new truck. Finding good, well maintained work trucks is hard enough. Finding one in nearly showroom condition is virtually impossible. Finding one with a contractor work area on the rear is even harder. Everything is right except it"s in the wrong state. California is getting very difficult to live in, and having to sell this lovely truck really breaks my heart. I restore vintage school buses as a hobby, and I"m quite a perfectionist about my equipment. Sadly, I"ll probably never find anything like this again. You may have been searching for quite awhile. You just found what you wee looking for. Truck is in San Bernardino, CA, about 80 miles East of Los Angeles.
