2008 Cadillac XLR "ALPINE WHITE LIMITED EDITION". One of only 198 produced in the color white for the total production of the XLR from 2004-2009. Built on a Corvette frame at the same plant that the Corvette was produced. There were only 1,150 2008 models produced total that year. It is rare to see an XLR driving on the street and even more rare to see a white one. This car gets the "thumbs up" wherever it goes and also smiles from all ages of onlookers.
Loaded with features that make driving and riding in this car a real joy! Retractable Hard Top works perfectly (I have never had an issue with it) allows you to have the best of both worlds (top up or down) with just a push of the button. Put the top in motion while parked on a busy street and watch the crowd gather around to see it work! LOL Very comfortable multi position power leather heated and cooled seats, lots of leg room and head clearance, adaptive speed control, six disc Bose System DVD/CD, Navigation, Back Up Camera and Sensors, Digital instrumentation with projection on windshield (Heads Up), dual climate control A/C, headlights that follow the direction that the car is turning, headlight washers, key less entry and ignition, much more!
The car is extremely fast, but has not been abused. It is tight and feels solid, like you just drove it off the showroom floor. Handles extremely well. No rattles or squeeks. Everything works like it should. The car looks, drives and performs like it is new. There have been four owners (all Florida owned). Garage kept and covered. Clean undercarriage. No accidents. No flood damage. No rust. No dents or scratches. In near perfect condition. Tires are almost new. New battery last year with a 5 year Nation Wide warranty.
Owned by a non smoking retired adult, this car is extremely fast, but has not been abused. My wife and I are relocating to South Carolina next month. I will need a pick up truck to pull a boat and haul some building material. Unfortunately the XLR will not accomplish this, so it is time to let it go to someone else to enjoy. I have loved it and have nothing negative to say about owning one of these amazing cars.
