Vehicle description
This car was a Canadian import from German Star Motors; Carfax shows me as the third owner but the second owner was just the importing dealer. I love this car and a 6-speed sedan was exactly what I wanted, but the reality is I have several vehicles and this one mostly sits in the driveway for a couple weeks at a time.
Sedan with 6 speed manual. Clutch is strong and trans shifts well. Interlagos Blue with all black leather interior and Ferric Gray wheels is a good looking combo.
The car sounds amazing yet is calm on the highway with no drone whatsoever. Check engine light is on due to the rear oxygen sensors currently being unplugged; I did not want them to influence the A/F ratios. You could install spacers and plug them back in or have it tuned if the light bothers you. Mechanical highlights: Rod bearings done 2k miles ago with custom ACL Race bearing set from Lang Racing and BE Bearings/ARP rod bolts. Stock rod bearings were in excellent shape and I have pictures of them. Thermostat and throttle actuators replaced around 85k miles (on Carfax). Becker long tube headers with catless x-pipe and Agency Power Cat-Back exhaust with titanium tips. AFE Power intake. New one piece iron rotors (Bendix) and Power Stop Track day pads at all 4 corners. Kuhmo Ecsta PS91 tires with approx 50% tread remaining. H&R Springs Installed on Stock EDC dampers; handles excellent. New AGM battery 10 months ago. New OEM driveshaft 10 months ago (center u-joint was drying out in original shaft). Optioned with the following: Cold Weather Package: Split fold rear seats with ski-bag, heated front seats, headlight washers. Premium Package: Power folding mirrors, garage door opener, compass in mirror, aluminum trim. Technology Package: Electronic damping control, M-drive, comfort keyless access, Navigation.
