Vehicle description
Volvo XC90. It has been across the country to the west, to the north, and everywhere in between. Only had two owners. I bought it in 2010 shortly after a difficult divorce and years of driving a minivan. This car felt like freedom. I had four young children, and yes, there are still some crayon marks from when paper just wasn’t good enough for drawing. I originally got the car to haul kayaks, it still does. It also hauled a trailer or two of compost for my gardens. It has four basically brand new tires. Hitch. Roof Rack. Can be an automatic or standard shift. I know, you’re thinking this is too good to be true. It is, however, you need to know some of its other fine features…. Like the fact that the glove box just sort of stays open for you. The headliner was sagging, but we kinda fixed it. Kinda. The leather seats are, well, still leather. And broken in quite well. There is a unique water issue. No, not the radiator, it is just fine. (Newly replaced, actually) There is some type of drainage that is backed up. Water in the floorboards. If you look at is as cleaning off your boots after being out on an adventure, you’ll find it a welcome feature. If you are like me and find it annoying, you’ll get to fix that however you want. Two of my children grew up and became teenagers and used the car for several years as they learned how close was too close to a pole or two. So those dents are still there. To summarize - perfect for a teenager who is just going to put dents in it anyway. They won’t even be noticed. And it has an aux port. Perfect for you who wants to hitch up a trailer and just needs an affordable, but still mostly classy vehicle for it. Perfect for you who needs to haul things - either on the roof or with the second and third row seats down. The radio works. The air works (but not super great) It has a good alarm, because you don’t want anyone making off with your new wheels. (Did I mention those tires are indeed new?) It has a clean title, and I have all the service records.
