This is a great, strong, and reliable truck. I"m ready for something newer, but with the new frame and suspension, this truck has easily another 200k miles to go. Maybe more. All details below.
4.7 L v8 engine, shift on fly 4x4 with lo. Optional manual transmission shift setting is great in snow. SR5 with tilt wheel, power windows and doors locks, power driver seat adjust, mirror defrost, stability control, sliding rear window, ABS, AC, cruise control, tow package, fog lights, dual airbags, alloy wheels, bedliner, running boards, paint matched LEER cap. 78" bed length. Regular oil changes and service, often at Prestige Toyota in Kingston NY
Partial service records: 2020 New alternator, serpentine belt, idler pulley 2019 @ 147,500 miles Full frame replacement at Prestige Toyota, Kingston NY, including new brake lines, new shocks, new struts, new coil and leaf springs, new rear differential seal. The frame is so new it still has the stickers on it (see photos). Also new parking brake linkage. Over $2400 of work in addition to warranty-replaced frame; new battery; Pioneer AVH-X391BHS aftermarket stereo with bluetooth and DVD, premium sound 2017 Timing belt and water pump 2016 Purchased at DCH Wappingers Falls.
I"m definitely the second owner, possibly 3rd. Known issues:Body has some scratches and dings. Driver"s seat torn upholstery seam. Center console vinyl peeling and clip broken. Needs muffler, front brakes, 4 tires and TPMS sensors. This truck has an occasional shudder which may indicate torque converter replacement, but it"s been driving this way for over ten thousand miles with no ill effects. There"s some information on this online if you want to research the condition, or I can send you a link. The dealer could not replicate the problem, and advised no action, however, I bought a new torque converter but haven"t yet put it in. The new torque converter comes with the truck.
