You are bidding on the very popular model of 2007 Toyota Tacoma Pickup Truck. The 159 HP engine runs strong and starts right up every time with no smoke. The 4-speed ECT-l automatic transmission slides between gears. It is registered in Maryland and passes the Emissions check each time. The tires are all 18 months new. The bed is SMC composite lined and therefore looks great. The cloth-lined seat is a single bench that has forward tilt with seatbelts for three. This is your no-frills model with very few electric motors and therefore less to break down. The brakes work well and should plenty of life still. The option for manual shifting works great on slippery roads or when pulling a load up a steep hill. Roll down windows, level pulled seat release, back slide window are just about unbreakable. The heat runs strong and the air conditioner cools the small cabin quickly. The previous owner installed a remote controller starter, which works great on cold mornings.
We just had the oil changed and found out that the under body frame has lots of rust which is apparently a common problem with this year of Toyota Tacomas, but the extended warranty has run out of time and they are no longer offering any programs to fix the problems. We are selling this truck as is. You can see for yourself the rust damage in the pictures, and decide if this is something you can fix or live with.
