Vehicle description
2007 Suzuki SX4 ALL WHEEL DRIVEThe car was a year old when we bought it. The CarFax showed an accident with damage to the rear that required towing. I have experience with this type of thing and I could find no evidence of a major repair. Either the accident was over-reported or the repair shop was phenomenal but either way we trusted the car enough to put our daughter in it. She drove it for 10 years or so with no issues. Only selling it due to the fact that the family is growing and she moved up to something a little bigger.ASSESMENTMechanicalRuns great, tight steering, good brakes and tires. Other than battery and brakes the only mechanical repair I have done to the car is to replace the factory battery and the left rear wheel bearing which was starting to whine a bit.BODYNormal dings in chips expected on a 12 year old car. Small ding in bottom passenger side of windshield. Light damage to passenger side mirror incurred backing out of a garage. The clear coat is starting to peel on some horizontal surfaces around the top of the doors, roofline and top of the rear bumper (see photos).InteriorOne of the best I have ever seen on a 12 year old car. Never smoked in.WHAT DOES NOT WORKI would head out on a cross country trip in this car with no reservation but there are a few small items that are not perfect. At least one of the sensors for the low tire pressure has given up so the low tire pressure warning light remains on. Last time I checked a set of replacements was about $50 but since the car has relatively new BF Goodrich tires I hate to dismount and remount them to change the sensors. The airbag warning light stays on. There was an issue with a seat sensor pad on these cars and I believe Suzuki did a free repair but my understanding is does not affect the operation of the system.A couple of the tiny little lights on the radio display are out making it hard (but not impossible) to read the station display. If you have any questions feel free to call 256.473.3339 or shoot me a message.
