For Sale: 2007 Scion TC, 149,200 miles, automatic, ONE OWNER, clean title and Carfax $3,400
DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY OF THE ROOF RACK PICTURED!
IMPORTANT! ! – car will not pass some states" inspection and/or emissions, and would need a lot of work to do so. Car will be the most bargain for someone in Ohio or a similar state that doesn’t require such nonsense.
First: problems with the car….
- -car needs new muffler from the axle back and also has no catalytic converter…. consequently, the car is extremely loud and will be until you install a new muffler.
- -couple of small rust spots on edge of fender above rear tires….(see detailed photos)
- -maintenance light and check engine light stay on due to the O2 sensor being relocated (this is due to installation of a header)… this is the only thing causing the light to come on last time I used a code reader…. does not affect drivability.
I am the sole owner of the car, purchased it new in December 2016 and have put 149,200 miles on it. I meticulously maintained it and have every single receipt for every oil change, parts replacements, etc. etc. done to the car since new. No major cosmetic issues apart from a couple of broken clips on the front bumper, and some normal dings and paint fade. Interior is amazing looking for the age of the car, I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. No stains, rips, etc.
The car is tastefully lowered on top of the line Tein springs (just replaced less than 2 years ago) ($285), also has an Injen cold air intake installed ($255) as well as a Strup 4:1 race header ($400). Other modifications include a Greddy rear strut brace ($145), front strut brace ($160), and c-pillar brace ($75), all of which help tighten the suspension a bit. The car was previously a highly modified show car and won awards all over the east coast, although I sold most of the aftermarket parts before I turned it into an everyday car.
This would make a great car for a new driver, or would be great as a fuel-efficient work car, or for anyone just looking for a nice, reliable vehicle.
