Vehicle description
For sale is my 2007 Saturn Ion. sedan Good gas millage (34+mpg) Clean title, passed safety and emissions inspections back in June. one owner. Vehicle has the typical chips and scratches for a vehicle of this age. See photos. Air blows cold, heat blows hot, vehicle has been well maintained. Underside is not rusty like some cars . I bought this car new back in 2007
now for the bad:
Check engine light came on showing evaporative emissions system leak. I took the car to a local mechanic to fix the issue. Everything we try only last for a little while then the code keeps coming back. I do not want to put any more money into the car. So far I have replaced the gas cap, fuel lines, evap. canister, fuel filter, canister purge valve, both oxygen sensors, and the air mass sensor. the mechanic flashed the computer and did a smoke check several times but so far has not been able to find the leak.
T he stereo system works but a few buttons are finicky and don"t always work. if I was to keep the car I would buy a new stereo. The rear windows don"t roll down because of a broken wire. it is an easy fix, I just have not done it. Drivers seat has a tear, and the seats have some water stains.
The car is still drivable but will not pass a safety inspection with the check engine light on.
Mileage will continue to increase as it is my daily driver.
Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. I will help with loading the vehicle if it needs to be shipped but you could drive it home if you wanted to.
