No reserve auction! $1 starting bid, no reserve! 2007 Porsche Boxster S convertible; 6-speedmanual ; 79,980 miles; two owners; clean title; excellent condition; rust free Florida car; Atlas Grey Metallic paint color (a$690 extra) over black genuine leather; upgraded power seats and Bose sound system. Please note that my camera read the Atlas Grey Metallic as black, so the photos make it look like black but it is not . In reality it is a deep grey metallic that can look like black, anthracite or dark blue depending on the angle of light, very pretty and rare! This car has the 3.4 liter 6-cylinder Boxer engine that Porsche introduced in 2007 for the Boxster S. It makes 295 HP and 252 lb ft of torque which elevates it into 911territory and was significantly faster than the 2006 3.2 liter engine it replaced! It features a dry-sump oil circulation system as standard which means this Porsche is track ready. It is very good on gas, 28 mpg or higher on the highway, 20 mpg for city driving. It has the best steering in the business and fantastic handling, supported by PSM Porsche Stability Management, very powerful ABS brakes and ASR Anti Slip Regulation. It roles on staggered wheels with 235/40ZR18’sin front and 265/40/ZR 18’s on 9” wide rims in the rear. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport high performance tires and have only 8,000 miles on them. It tracks straight, has not vibrations at any speed and the shock absorbers work as they should. The car has been garaged all its life; it is bone stock; it has the $1,550 power seat package with seat memory that automatically recognizes the driver’s settings; and comes with the$375 Porsche Windstop (deflector) and the $950 Bose High End Sound Package which gives it really nice and powerful sound both on the radio and CD player. However, the displays tend to act up overtime and this one is no exception: it istoo dim but you can read it easier when you swipe your finger over it. The paint is in fantastic condition for the age; the front bumper has been repainted by a high end body shop due to a fender bender on the front right at a cost of $3,800. The bumper has no stone chips, neither has the rest of the car! There is a slight dent on the right rear wheel arch which is difficult to see and to photograph; a few really minor scratches; the car really looks as good as in the pictures(only that it is dark metallic grey and not black! ). The retractable spoiler has a crack in the plastic cover which is only cosmetic. Interior is in great shape as well. Please see photos for the overall condition! Incredibly, the Porsche Boxster S receives a 4.9 (out of 5) star KBB consumer review rating which is the highest a car has ever received (other than the Porsche 911)! Even a Mazda Miata gets only 4.8, a Honda Accord 4.5. That means you can’t beat a Boxster S neither on performance, looks nor reliability! ! This Boxster S was only lady driven and was serviced regularly by a Porsche specialist workshop in Sarasota; it has an excellent service history (please see the attached car fax report)! All fluids were changed according to factory service intervals; the last oil change was 400 miles ago! At the same time the spark plugs were replaced as well as the drive belts. Brake pads were replaced in the last 2000miles. It has been absolutely reliable and maintenance is not very expensive at all. The clutch has an excellent feel and engages very smoothly; the transmission shifts easily and with great feel and precision; the engine revs very freely and has an impressive power band, the car is extremely quick! It"s a joy to drive! It starts on first turn of the key, every time. This car is ready to go and can bedriven anywhere! It puts a smile on your face every time you step on the gas and you hear the soundtrack of the engine, particularly when driving open! The A/C blows ice-cold; the power convertible top goes up and down without hesitations (and very quickly), everything else works as it should with one exception: the batteries in the tire pressure sensors are empty and they need replacing (which we should have done 8,000 miles ago with the new tires! We were planning to do it the next time we would be installing new tires), therefore the TPMS throws a permanent error message. Four OEM sensors cost $176 at (ttps:/ www.oewheelsllc.com/make/Porsche/model/Boxster/year/2007). Once the tires are off the wheels installation is very easy and should be included in the fee for mounting and balancing. It has a brand new Interstate AGM battery (expensive!) which will last six years or longer, as well as new window motors. I have the clean title in hand; the original window sticker will come with the car as well as a complete owner’s manual, complete tool set with electric compressor and the special wheel nut to unlock the bolts and a complete car fax report.
