Vehicle description
I"ve owned the car for nine years and put 90,000 miles on it . . always garaged . . no accidents . . flawless body . . maintained per mfg recommendations (CARFAX summary attached). It"s a very well looked after car (the only defects as noted below). You won"t be disappointed.
No issues - car runs great. The drive train is solid - never spent a dime on it and it is strong as ever. It"s a sealed transmission - never change the oil. Replaced the front struts at about 110,000 miles / new headliner last year / convertible hydraulics overhauled recently. XK"s come well equipped . . not much in the way of options. For those not familiar, a unique feature is "adaptive" cruise control (i.e. when employed in traffic the car will automatically slow to maintain spacing on slower vehicles). The only defects on the vehicle are a bit of wear on the outside edge of the driver seat (photo attached), and a chip at the inside forward edge of the driver door panel where the door meets the dash (not visible with the door closed).
This was a $95,000 vehicle in 2007 . . renowned Jaguar styling enhanced under Ford ownership with industry leading reliability. The 2007 XK"s are a product of the Ford-ownership era and don"t suffer the many legacy issues of their predecessors.
You should know that I"m a Jaguar enthusiast, and been an active member of the Jaguar Club. I"ve rebuilt a 1967 S-Type from the ground up and done a concours restoration of a 1955 XK140 roadster (picture linked - national champion twice).
