Absolutely runs, drives and handles just like new. Everything works as new. You will not find a cleaner example. This is as close to a new S2000 as you"ll find.
Immaculate, unmolested, red and drop dead gorgeous. If you have been looking for an S2000 that checks all of the boxes, this is the one. This car has never been in an accident, never, ever had a dent or door ding and has all of it"s original paint and sheet metal. It has been adult driven and garaged since new. There have been no aftermarket mechanical, performance or suspension "upgrades". Nothing but genuine Honda service parts have ever been installed on the car, with the exception of the brake pads, which are EBC Redstuff Ceramic low dust pads.
The beautiful New Formula Red exterior just underwent a complete professional, multistage paint correction and was professionally ceramic coated with GTECHNIQ Ceramic Coating and has a 5 year warranty on the coating (comes with a warranty card and is valid with any certified GTECHNIQ installer in the US). The ceramic finish is so slick that water doesn"t bead, it rolls off in sheets and can be washed completely clean by hosing it off with water. No soap, polishing or waxing for 5 years minimum, and longer if you keep it garaged. The finish is completely free of visible swirl marks. There is a small repair that has been done to the convertible top where the top rubs against the top frame, about one inch long.
The interior is spotless with no wear or damage. The floor mats are Honda"s plush, deep pile "Elegance" mats, part number 08P16-S2A-610A and are not available in the US. They were ordered from the UK at a cost of $450.00 with shipping.
I replaced the brake rotors (genuine Honda), pads and brake fluid in 2017 (the original pads and rotors were fine, I"m just anal and wanted the ceramic pads). The transmission and rear differential oil were changed in 2017 using genuine Honda products. A new Honda battery was installed in January 2021. The tires are new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+. The wheels have no curb rash and are ceramic coated, exteriors and inside barrels, brake dust and dirt will hose right off.
The car will come with the original window sticker, a genuine Honda S2000 fitted soft storage dust cover and the original Honda convertible boot cover.
