We"re the original owners of this Fit Sport. It"s an economical hauler, more practical than a Civic or Accord sedan, with a big, flat rear floor when you fold down the back seat. We"ve hauled everything from an upright freezer to full grown sheep. If you have big dogs and a small budget, this is the car for you.
We haven"t babied this car, but we haven"t abused it, either. We"ve changed the oil on time and used name brand synthetic. It always starts, runs smoothly, shifts easily. No missing, no hesitation. No check engine light, no smoke, no oil use, no fluid leaks. We get 32-35 mpg.
Drives nicely. Good road manners. Goes where you aim it. New left tie rod end, new sway bar links. Our mechanic has just gone over this car, and he gave it the thumbs-up except for weak front struts and rust on the front brake rotors.
The sale includes 4 Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires with at least one winter left in them, mounted on steel wheels for easy changeover. They make this a fine winter car.
The body is in fair shape. No big dents, but it does have some rust, dings (including roof and hood, probably from hail), paint scratches and chips. The windshield is cracked on the passenger side. The doors and windows all work smoothly, except for a balky back hatch latch.
It"s been in 2 accidents, one involving the right side, which is probably why it"s rusting faster there.
The interior has a few scuffs and scars, but the seats and carpet are still in good shape. We have both of the original keys. Includes Bluetooth adapter.
