Vehicle description

Please read the entire description, so you know exactly what you are getting:You read the header right. I put a new engine and had the transmission rebuilt just 10,000 miles ago, and it has run on nothing but AMSOIL synthetic. I run a transportation business, and this was a fleet vehicle that got most of it"s miles on the highway, transporting Wake Forest University students between Winston Salem, NC and Charlotte, NC. The van itself has 420K miles, but the engine was replaced with a brand new remanufactured REMANNS engine at 410,000. What you are really looking at buying here is that engine, which we purchased for $2,235.00 in October. The van also has a $500 set of brand new Firestone tires on it (see picture). You are getting a LOT for the money, at this price. The transmission was rebuilt at the same time, and it blew a seal on a customer trip to Baltimore last week. These things happen, but the fact that it needs that repair is why we are selling it as cheap as we are. The transmission only has 10,000 miles on the rebuild, and it runs and shifts perfectly when it has fluid in it. The problem is, until you repair that seal, it won"t hold fluid. But you can fill it full of fluid right now, and it will run perfectly for a few miles until it leaks out, proving that it is a solid transmission once it gets a new seal.If you need this engine, you"ll have to pay a lot more for it if you buy it from the remanufacturer. I know, I had to pay their price a few months ago (see invoice in picture). OR, you can get this engine by paying $1500 for this van, and get a solid transmission after a repair, a brand new set of tires, and a whole van full of parts. .all for $735 less than the engine, alone cost. Yeah. .it"s a good deal. Also, if you buy it to take the engine out. .well, once the engine is out that transmission becomes a 30 minute repair job. So, you need an engine, you take the engine out of this van, and then right in front of you is a transmission that you can quickly patch up and sell and get most of the cost of the van back, and you still own the brand new tires and all of the parts. OR, you just repair the van, as is, and you are riding around on a drive train that only has 10,000 miles! There;"s no other way to get THAT, at this price!Transportation is your responsibility. Clean title for the van will be over-nighted to you as soon as payment clears. The van is at my Navy buddy"s house in the Baltimore suburbs, so you should figure out your pickup arrangements from there. Again, you are looking at a 10,000 mile engine with full documentation. The remanufacturer is "Remanns," and you can look them up online. There is a copy of the invoice in the pictures. The brand new tires, the "one fix away" rebuilt transmission and all of the parts come with the deal. Someone who has the time, or resells cars or parts for a living can make a killing here! Or, someone who just wants a vehicle with a brand new, professionally rebuilt engine and transmission, is going to get that here for a very cheap price, even considering the repair!Selling at this price because I have my own business to run, and simply do not have the time to part it out myself. My loss, your gain. Deposit of $500 required immediately. Remainder of full amount required within 72 hours. Clean title will be over-nighted upon full payment. Vehicle pickup required within 7 days. Thanks for looking!
