Ballistic windows: Windshield, Rear door and all windows have been replaced with ballistic resistance of 39mm. These are laminated windows made with various layers of crystal and polycarbonate to avoid any penetration from bullets and splinters. All these areas are armored with IAC Level 5 (EN 1063B6) . Chassis: All doors, pillars, lateral, firewall, rear of chassis are protected with anti-ballistic material ARMORMAX . It is also installed Overlapping Elitus system to protect around all door frames. Ceiling: Protected with anti-ballistic material ARMORMAX with IAC Level 5 (EN 1063 B6) with angle of attack of 45 degrees or less. Floor : The floor area is protected with material against fragmentation combined and installed in various numbers of layers combined. This protection serves to protect up to german grenades DM51 or American grenades M-67 for ballistic protection less than 1900 feet per second(FPS) within an impact of 3 feet of fragments weighing 17 to 44 grams. This overlap secures the door in place while at the same time provides ballistic protection around each door and window. Opaque Armor The Opaque Armor installed in this vehicle consists of high strength ballistic-resistant steel, lightweight ballistic-resistant ARMORMAX , which is a combination of rigid woven material with Spectra Shield. The materials have been installed and secured on the lateral sides such as door and rear panels, along the roof, and throughout the pillar posts of the vehicle. The floor has been protected with an anti-fragmentation blanket made of flexible woven textile materials. This opaque armor has been installed behind original interior panels and does not require upkeep maintenance. Technical Information ARMORMAX is a combination of two synthetic fibers, SPECTRA and S-2. The combination and lay up of the fibers for each layer is proprietary of International Armoring Corporation. SPECTRA was developed through a patented “gel spinning” process. Spectra fiber is the trademark for Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene fibers (UHMWPE). Spectra is produced as a continuous filament fiber and has extraordinary strength to weight ratio. It is the strongest, lightest weight ballistic fiber in the world. Pound for pound Spectra is 10 times stronger than steel. The highest strength to weight ratio of any material developed to date. Developed by NASA . S-2 is a monolithic fiber that works best as a ballistic material when it is impregnated with a hardening resin. Once it is hardened, it acts as an excellent “Strike Face” on higher velocity applications. Strike Face is defined as material at the point of impact. The purpose The purpose of this material in the ARMORMAX armor system is on the Strike Face to slow down the round, turn it and absorb the velocity(energy) of the round and stop the actual round itself. The ARMORMAX composition, which pound for pound is ten (10) times more resistant than ballistic steel, weighs 60% less for the same level of protection . ARMORMAX is a self-contained material that is not affected by the elements or extreme climate conditions. Notes from seller: It needs some cosmetic work as the exterior has minimum damages. Hood has some hail damage, rear right door is partially dented, rear bumper was replaced is currently primed only, rear left panel has a dent at the bottom corner and a dent in rear door bottom left side. Glass components are not peeling, rear right lateral window has partial blurry spot. It is fully armored and 100% operational, my price is fair and somewhat flexible to accommodate for these items.
