Vehicle description
This car is an absolute blast to drive. It"s in perfect mechanical shape (I ran all of the error codes through a BMW OBDII computer and found no faults), and I keep 91-94 fuel in it when I drive (89 is minimum required). Most of the miles are highway miles, apparently the previous owner liked to use it for road trips, including driving it from the east coast to west coast and back. Mechanical top works absolutely great. AC blows cold and the seats are adjustable via motor, etc. The car is surprisingly comfortable for it"s size, and I"m pretty tall. Adjustable seats in all directions, etc. Has an absolute great kick to it, especially if you need to quickly pass someone to get to your exit, this is the car for you.
Interior has some custom upgrades from previous owner, including a touchscreen LCD that folds out automatically from the CD player when the car starts. Lets you connect via Bluetooth and has integration with Spotify, Pandora, etc. Should let you play DVDs as well from my understanding. Along with that, there is also RGB interior underfoot lighting under both the driver and passenger side that is adjustable from a dongle. Feels really cool at night when everything is glowing red or purple. The front grille also has the nifty little BMW three-coloured fins. Finally, there is a USB hookup built in to connect to your dash cam.
Just got this car from Nevada a few weeks ago. I cleaned it up real good (it needed some TLC) and replaced both the trunk struts. I will be replacing the (cracked) rear tail light when the part arrives tomorrow. The one thing about this car is the front bottom grille"s clips are broken, and they are held in place with zip ties. The previous owner used really flimsy white zip ties, but I took them all out and replaced them with (jet black) industrial grade zip ties that replaces the clips and actually is able to not break if you accidentally scrape the bottom of the car pulling out somewhere. It"s not noticeable because the clips are on the underside of the front of the car, you have to get down there to look; but I thought I"d let you know. The body and paint are in otherwise excellent condition, with only a few small dings and scratches. Not noticeable for the most part unless you look really hard, but could be fixed up quickly with some sandpaper and putty->primer->paint->clearcoat.
Unfortunately for me, my wife isn"t a big fan of the car, and doesn"t like the fact it only has two seats. I"ve purchased a Lincoln MKZ (Hybrid), and the insurance premium I am paying monthly for this car is too high for me to justify having another car just for joy-riding. I am hoping to give this to another owner who can also give it the appreciation it deserves. Title is from Nevada, was previously registered there. Not registered in California (where it resides) or smog checked yet as all of the DMVs are closed. Local pickup is fine, and if you need it shipped you will have to use the shipping service.
This car is being sold AS IS, absolutely no returns, refunds, or replacements. There are no exceptions. Any member who allows, permits, or authorized anybody to use that member"s account is responsible for the transaction. Photos speak a thousand words, so look at the photos and decide if this car is for you! This vehicle has been checked by me personally to have no major mechanical faults, and has been tested and driven on both highways and city streets perfectly, but I make no guarantee! I am not responsible for the vehicle"s ability to pass an out of state inspection, and this vehicle that is being sold is free of a check engine light at time of sale, unless otherwise indicated. I am NOT responsible for the occurrence of check engine lights after the point of sale, nor am I responsible for any other error indicator lights that appear on the dash after point of sale, unless otherwise indicated in photographs. I am not responsible for any faults after point of sale, especially and as if the car may have been damaged in shipping.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and or payment of said shipping arrangements. I can also hold the car for a week or two if you need it.
