About this vehicle This 2007 BMW 550i is a project vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is not regularly driven. Car comes with a clean oregon title which will become a salvaged title once submitted to DMV. Car was involved in a minor rear end collision where it was struck from behind at a low rate of speed. Insurance deemed the vehicle a total loss and paid out on the claim. The car has a battery drain which continually keeps making the steering wheel lock light come on preventing it from starting once the light is illuminated. The trunk lid has some damage to it, and the rear bumper cover is damaged as well as the frame of the car near the trunk lack all from the collision. However the trunk opened and closes still, and the back passenger tail light lens is cracked down the middle. It has brown on black leather interior, and premium sound system, 20" rim's and low profile tires, sunroof, tinted windows, aftermarket exhaust, and lots I'd new parts replaced prior to the accident. Also the dynamic drive busted loose from the front axle in the collision and two high pressure hydraulic lines broke. They are spliced but need immediate attention before it gets driven. Its suspected to be a bad ground wire draining the battery. But not confirmed. It's a really beautiful and fast car when it is running, and sounds very good.
