Vehicle description
Vehicle Details Selling my 2007 BMW 328i that we don't drive much anymore. The Good:Drivetrain is in great condition. Purchased from a corporate fleet in 2015 when it had about 74,000 miles on it and I've only put another 20,000 or so since then. I live extremely close to where I work and I end up taking my fiance's car everywhere instead of taking out the BMW. For the past several years I've taken it out once every few weeks just to cycle the gas and keep the battery fresh. Tires have good tread, transmission is solid, A/C runs cold, suspension is tight, battery replaced about 200 miles ago, and alignment is true. Feels like it runs on rails. The leather in the interior is in excellent condition all around. It's been regularly conditioned and kept out of the sun it's whole life. The Fair:The paint is in fair condition. There are several spots that are scratched and chipped. Paint has swirls in the right light. There are a few spots near the right rear wheel well that have some paint transfer from scraping a pylon in a parking structure. Some pain flaking at the bottom left of the front grill. There are two minor dents that I have found: one on the hood and one on the trunk, paint is undamaged on these spots. Rear bumper has a minor crack in the panel or something that was there when I bought it. Wheels are in good shape, just a few spots where they rubbed a curb over the years. There is still some tar that could be cleaned that the guy I paid to detail it ignored. Never use Bird detailing in LA, btw. Front left headlight and a few of the side lights have oxidation that could be refreshed pretty easy. See photos. The Bad: Right now one of the tire sensors needs to be replaced and is tripping a light (tires are all in good condition), and either the emergency brake linkage needs adjustment or the e-brake sensor/switch needs replacing. Emergency brake error light comes on, but it holds tight and seems to work just fine, so I'm leaning towards a switch issue. Replaced the lock mechanism/linage on the front driver side door two years ago, and a few months back the front passenger door stopped working. Seems like the same issue: the servo works fine, but the cable that engages the lock probably needs replacement like I did on the driver side door. The bottom of the furthest right cupholder on the passenger side is broken and won't hold a drink. The plastic panel that surrounds the rear of the center console where the air vents are for the back seat is loose. It was like this when I bought it as well. Seems like the plastic latch for the panel broke off, but you don't ever notice unless people are using the vents back there. Never bothered me enough to need fixing.Local pickup in Los Angeles area.
