This car needs a new transmission. This was my daily driver that i was in the process of fixing up for my son to take to college, but he wants nothing to do with "moms old volvo". It has many new parts. New tires, front brakes, 4 new struts, 4 new wheel hubs, 2 front axle shafts, tie rods , a/c condensing coil, new battery and many new bushings. I was backing out of parking spot and car wouldn"t go in reverse I revved engine and heard a bang from the transmission.It will not go into gear or park. This is a great running engine with lots of power. Perfect for someone who has the time to and ability to repair. This car needs a new transmission.
