Vehicle description
I am selling my 2006 Toyota Sienna CE. THE TRANSMISSION IS BAD AND WILL NEED TO BE REPAIRED/REPLACED. It will have to be towed if you buy it. It drives but feels like the transmission could go out completely at any moment. I bought it used in 2019 and have been using it for rural mail delivery. I have all the seats and the flip up center console. I have put alot of money into it recently but will not spend the money to have the transmission repaired.
Here is a list of the repairs i"ve made since I have had it:
Timing belt, water pump, transmission service and PCV valve all at 160213 miles
2 new drive belts at 176233 miles
Front brake pads and rotors, rear brake shoes and drums, wheel cylinder replaced, front lower control arms, power steering pump and 2 motor mounts all at 178773 miles
In addition to the transmission it also has a check engine light, ABS light and brake light, and airbag light on. The check engine light shows a transmission code as well as 2 cat converter codes. The airbag light is for the passenger seat, it goes off from time to time.
It made a trip this past summer from Texas to West Virginia with no problems. I really love this van and would love to keep it but I just can"t put any more money into it. For someone willing to deal with the transmission I have already taken care of several major items.
