Vehicle description
Clean 2006 (last year of this model) Subaru Baja, Turbocharged, A/T. Blue w/ Black leather. 89k+miles. $5k upgrades & extras. Garage kept.
About a year ago (@ +/- 82,000 miles): Subaru Dealer installed new exhaust-valves & lifters . . water-pump . . timing-belt & tensioner . . manifold gasket . . spark plugs . . filters . . all seals & gaskets.
About eight-months ago (@ 88,000 miles): top pro-shop installed new brake-calipers, rotors, brake-pads . . performed full brake-flush. Installed new KYB gas struts (a VAST suspension upgrade) . . installed top-rated lift-kit (urethane - 30mm front / 40mm rear) . . performed fresh alignment (and, another at about 500-miles following installation, as recommended). New Yokohama GeoLanders (215/70 R16) installed (balanced initially, and again, after 2,000-miles).
September 2019: new windshield installed.
* Note * - The above suspension upgrades were carefully researched - online forums / direct discussions with other Baja owners. The modest lift, gas struts, and Yokohama GeoLander tires were highly recommended. Any larger-dimensioned tires will rub wheel-wells , bodywork &/or suspension-parts. The ride is smoother, more responsive to driver input . . and the (expensive $$) Yokohama tires are not noisy, while providing outstanding traction in the wet, and on snow.
* Note * - The rear-bed is highly useful and versatile. There is a removable "pass-thru" panel in the front of the bed (shown in photo), which can enable loading long objects like 10-12ft lumber, with the tailgate down.
* Note * - This Turbocharged 4-cylinder power plant is a real "sleeper" . . similar to the Subaru WRX. This Baja is a little "rocket ship". Beware of speeding tickets !
* Note * - The roof rack shown on the car, in the photos, is NOT included in the sale. A rare, highly sought-after, rear-bed hard-cover ("tonneau"), with locking latch MAY be available at extra-cost (not shown),
* Note * - This vehicle is still driven semi-regularly. Our "daily-drivers / prime-movers" are an Isuzu Trooper . . and an Isuzu Vehi-Cross.
POSSIBLE Nationwide (USA) delivery, including West Coast ! (Inquire). Otherwise - can arrange regional delivery along I-95 Corridor from Richmond to New York City, @ $1 / mile.
