For those who know the appeal of a Saab, or those who don"t know but would like to, I offer for sale this nice example of a 9-3. Saab options / models have always been a little complicated. Up until 2005 one had to choose between a Linear (lowest trim level, Arc (mid trim) or Aero (highest trim). In 2006 Saab rationalized it a bit by eliminating the Linear and Arc designations and selling the 9-3 as a two liter sport sedan or the Aero model equipped with a new V6 engine. This car is an almost fully loaded 2 liter turbo model - Among the options/features are : Power driver and passenger seat High pressure headlamp washers Fog lights Auxiliary input for the radio 6 CD in-dash player Heated front seats Dual zone A/C and heat auto dimming mirror Sliding/Tilting sunroof Shiftable automatic transmission Leather seats 3rd party Bluetooth adaptor It has been ultra reliable for me. I fitted new pads and rotors about 15K miles ago and two new Pirelli P6 tires about 5K miles ago. The other two tires are still legal but will need replacement soon. Apart from that it"s had the oil and filter changed every 3000 miles. If the car is purchased with the "buy it now" I will throw in another two new matching tires. I had the chassis treated and it"s in good shape. The car has Maine state inspection until March 2018 and should have no issues that I am aware of passing in other states. The paintwork is in overall good condition with a few minor scrapes and dings as expected in a 2006 model. This is a very entertaining car to drive, as well as having a very good safety rating, You have plenty of power to overtake or get out of someone"s way if needed. Experienced Saab o"philes will already know this of course ;) It accomplishes what to me always seems an impossible combination of performance and fuel economy. It will do well over 30 mpg on the highway on regular grade fuel. With this enthusiastic description you may wonder why I want to sell this car. It"s only because I want to find and keep a 9-3 AWD model while I can still find a nice one. Saab parts are not a problem - still being readily available. I listed the mileage as 103,000 It currently has a little less than this but I use the car daily so it may go a little over by the time the auction ends. Ebay insists that shipping is available to the UK and Australia but in practice you might find it less aggravating to be in the USA or Canada!
