What a beauty this Spyder GT Roadster is. A perfect paint combination with the eye-popping metallic silver with the tasteful contrast of the white stripes from bumper to bumper and the great graphics near the rockers. Maybe you have not seen one of these before, well there is a reason. In 2005 Factory Five announced the availability of this Spyder GT, a topless version of the Type 65 Daytona Coupe. Factory Five only built 39 of these to make room to produce their GTM. This is number 35 of 39 so it is extremely rare but few if any look this nice. It has a 347 Ford stroker motor pumping out a heart pounding 415 HP. Connected to a T5 5 speed Tremac this is all of the power you will need for that cruise on PCH, Mulholland Drive or Ortega Highway. All of the right goodies are in place to handle the power including independent rear suspension, struts, rack and pinion steering, tubular lower control arms and a Ford 8.8" rear end. With 13” discs up front and 11” in the back you have all of the stopping power you need if you are pushing this motor to its limit. The upholstery was done by one of the best, Bill Dunn Upholstery (used frequently by Chip Foose in Overhaulin) providing black leather seats and trim. The frame is powder coated so no need to worry about not being dressed up under there. Factory Five is one of the best out there and this unique car won’t disappoint to bring smiles everywhere you take her! Car passes smog no problem and registration is current.
