Vehicle description
Title in hand, Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, 2006 was the only year this was made in the 955 model. This thing was $120,000 new. This car is amazing to drive thanks to the 520hp. It is salvage rebuilt and does have an issue which I will explain further below.
I originally bought this car two years ago from a copart auction with some relatively minor damage. I have since replaced everything needed replacing and requires minimum work to bring back the bodywork to 100%. I have all parts remaining to make it 100%. I had a misfire in my engine a few months back which required me to bring the car over to Porsche. They replaced the plugs and coils and that helped but did not fix it. It was discovered that the engine needed new mass air flow units. Those needed to be ordered from Germany and the factory at the time was backordered. It then sat for 3 months until the new mass air units were installed. The problem that arose was the torque converter seal in the transmission went bad, causing it to leak making it undrivable during its time sitting and now it requires that seal replaced to get back on track. Fortunately the dealer is offering me special pricing to repair it at half the normal cost, if you"re handy and can do this yourself or know an independent tech who can fix it for less I recommend that as well. At this point I have sunk a lot of money into this car (over 10k) and with the current worldwide situation it"s not wise for me to keep investing into it. Besides the transmission leak this thing is sorted and ready to be enjoyed. I"ve done all the hard work! My loss is your gain. Once fully fixed this super rare super truck can sell for around 12-13k.
Pros: Engine is in impeccable shape, the Porsche dealer by my house where it is located currently went over the entire engine (spark plugs, coil packs, valve cover gaskets, vacuum lines, mass air flow units ($1000s of dollars in maintenance) and the engine torque mount. Suspension is also impeccable, when I originally bought it I replaced upper and lower control arms, cv axles, struts, sway bar links, and the spindle on the driver side. No bumps and creaks or strange noises when I last drove it. The wiper motor went bad and was replaced by the dealer so it has a brand new wiper motor as well (those are a common item to go bad so that"s savings of $400 at least. Interior is also in really good shape, has heated seats on all four seats. all screens work and I have even added bluetooth to the stock system. Transmission shifted beautifully and smoothly. Has the panoramic sunroof which everything works and there are no leaks The front differential was damaged in the crash and has since been replaced completely with new fluid (cost me $1200) The paint, and headlights are in great shape as most of this car was clear bra"d. Fully loaded 520 hp monster Very clean underneath no rust New tires all around (summer tires) New 900cca battery with warranty Keyless entry and keyless start The entire passenger side needs no work bodywork wise and it is perfect. Cons: Needs bodywork on driver side (rear driver door needs repaint and front door needs alignment, I will include new front door hinges to aid with that.) Front driver door needs the plastic trim piece on bottom but I have an unpainted one I will include. Needs the transmission torque converter seal replaced, once fixed this super truck will be good to go on any roadtrip or daily driving needed. Salvage title but has been rebuilt and is street usable and can be registered just like any other car. Minor but the wheels were plastidipped black originally and I haven"t fully removed all of the dip. The key works (the car can sense it when it is close and will unlock/lock and start for you) but the buttons to lock/unlock from a distance do not work. Any questions are more than welcome Good luck to those who bid.
