Vehicle description
This SLK AMG55 with a RENNtech stage 2 upgrade is an awesome driving machine. The RENNtech upgrade includes HEADERS, CARBON FIBER AIRBOX and a reprogrammed ECU. This increases HP by 45 to 400 and TQ by 49 to 425. The SLK has been well maintained so is in excellent working condition. As can be seen in the pictures, it looks great both inside and out. With the new (500 miles) high-performance tires, it drives great. With the top up there are no unusual noises or squeaks from the hard top. One cool thing about this car is it has a spare tire, so you do not need to use run-flat tires. Everything works as it should, including automatic climate control, navigation system, stereo with cd player, power seats, heated seats, air scarf, power locks, power windows, power mirrors, power hard top. Along with the two stock cup holders I have added 2 folding cup holders that can handle large cups. I also installed an aftermarket tire pressure monitor that will display tire pressure and temperature. The auto transmission was serviced 3000 miles ago and shifts smoothly. New shocks / struts, engine and transmission mounts, serpentine belt and pullies were replaced at 94K miles. Spark plugs (16) and plug wires were replaced at 105K miles. There are 2 keys and the original owner’s manual plus a cover as shown in the pictures.
