Vehicle description
2006 Mazda RX-8 with 121k miles. 6 speed manual and it"s grey. This car only takes premium of 93 octane and has a 1.3L 2 rotor Wankel engine. This car has had an oil change every 2500 miles with conventional 5W-20. Just had all the warranty work done which included replacing airbags and installing a new fuel pump. I have owned this car since 2016 mostly in Ohio and now it"s down here since I joined the Marine Corps.
Pros:
HKS Hi Power Exhaust (it"s loud enough with the backfires and spits flames)
K&N intake
Exedy stage 1 clutch
Short throw shifter
New starter
New fuel pump
New brake lines
New wires
New brake pads
New drilled and slotted rotors for the front
New caliper in the rear
New suspension arms in the rear
New tie rods
New wheel bearings
Relatively new tires (not sure the mileage but they look and feel good)
Just had a compression test done
Tinted windows
Aftermarket rear wing
Cons:
This car sat for about 9 months before I got it back, it was taken to a shop where I had everything that was wrong at the current time replaced.
The clutch bearing was replaced and is now grinding
There is a visible amount of rust on the rear passenger side wheel well. Smaller patches of rust on the back side of the trunk
The dashboard on the passenger side is cracked
Asking for $4500 OBO
