Up for sale is my 2006 Mazda 5 Mini-Mini Van/Wagon - This vehicle requires repairs that I personally cannot afford, nor am not knowledgeable enough, experienced enough or have the time to attempt the repairs myself. I actually love this car. It is a great size for driving around town and getting in and out of parking spaces. It seats 6 and has a tremendous amount of Cargo Space. I am a Musician and Sound System Professional and the Mazda 5 has been the perfect size for about 90% of the events I work. Again, if I had the money, I would have it completely gone through so that I could continue using it. The Good New is: A. The body is in excellent condition and the engine runs fine. 172,756 miles on the Odometer. B. All the Electrical features works, specifically Door Locks and Windows. C. The Sliding Side Doors work perfectly D. It has almost New Tires (worth about $200.00 alone) E. Interior is in great shape with only one small tear on the Driver"s Seat Cushion Here are negative issues: 1. Transmission needs repair - The shifting between gears can sometimes be rough, especially when shifting from 2nd to 3rd gears. Once in 4th gear, riding on the freeway, there are no issues. Sometimes it will not shift to "Reverse" on the first try. It may take one, two, three or 4 times shifting back and forth between the other positions to get it to finally go into reverse. 2. There is a strong vibration in what appears to be the Front Left Wheel that is only apparent when Braking or at speeds between 50 and 60 MPH. At 65-plus MPH, it rides smooth. 3. The Air Conditioner is out. The Compressor Bearings went and I just didn"t have the money to have it repaired. Besides, I would have put any repair funds first towards the Transmission. 4. The Wireless Key Fob doesn"t work. I have to open the car manually. I have only 1 key. 5. The CD Player doesn"t work, through the AM/FM Radio works fine. 6. It is registered as a "Non-Operational" vehicle, so the registration needs to be updated accordingly That"s it. I am asking $900.00, but I need to get rid of it so I am open to reasonable offers.
