Vehicle description
2006 Land Rover LR3 V8 SE
Runs and drives perfectly. Practically cosmetically flawless (some mild paint oxidation). Mechanically sound and needs nothing.
This car truly is something special. I"ve always loved the design of it, inside and out. Luxurious and comfortable for nights out on the town. People are always excited to ride in it. And of course, built for off-roading at the same time. Perfect for camping, mud, snow, etc. Amazingly versatile in that way.
· Leather interior in excellent condition
· Harman Kardon stereo w/ sub. Aux cord ready and 6-disc in-dash CD changer (awesome sound)
· 1 moonroof and 2 additional panoramic sunroofs
· Air suspension in perfect condition
· Newly replaced moonroof drain pipe system on driver and passenger side for optimum rain water flow and drainage. Clogging of this drainage system is a fairly common LR3 problem. This service was performed at Land Rover of Portland dealership in Sept. Receipts in hand (to the tune of $823.86).
· Newly replaced transmission sleeve and pan (due to slow leak from tranny sleeve), with new transmission fluid. Work performed at Green Oval, Portland in Sept. Receipts in hand ($899.42 + parts)
· Newly upgraded wiring for towing. Comes with hitch and is ready to tow. Receipts in hand.
· Newer tires
· Newer brake pads, front and rear
· Always maintained with premium synthetic oil and premium fuel
Only minor cons I can think of are: although the brake pads were replaced earlier this year and are in great shape, one of the brake sensors was brittle and broke during that service. This is an easy, fairly cheap fix, but it causes the "Check Brake Pads" light to go on in the dash. Never bothered me enough to fix but of course would be helpful when the brake pads get low down the road. There are a few hairline cracks up on the dash near windshield, presumably from hot/cold weather expansion and contraction. And the passenger tweeter speaker sometimes crackles, but audio system truly sounds excellent despite this.
California plates. Clean pink slip in hand.
Please don"t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thanks for viewing.
