For sale is my 53K mile 2006 Jeep Wrangler 4x4 with a 6spd manual trans and 6 cylinder engine. In April of 2020, I was moving from NYC to SoCal and wanted to do that in a Jeep (specifically a TJ). I looked all over the country for the cleanest accident-free low mileage example that I could find. When I bought this Jeep it had just under 20K original miles. It was owned by an elderly couple in FL. In the 18 months since, I have done a lot of work getting this Jeep dialed-in and it has to be the cleanest TJ that I have ever climbed under. There is not a spec of rust on the floor pan or frame and the engine compartment is spotless.
The jeep was ordered from the factory with the tow package and half doors. The original khaki top and flares (in some of the pictures) were faded and have since been replaced. I have been running a bikini top all summer so the new Bestop Trektop NX is still in the original box. I added a teraflex 2.5" suspension lift and some leveling pucks, t-case drop, new 31" tires + spare, new wheels, new nitro shocks, rear disk break conversion + new front breaks (inc calipers), new clutch pack, new pan seal + RMS, aftermarket sway bars front + rear, and disconnects. There are new speakers in the stock enclosures and it has a JK headlight upgrade. I"ve also done extensive maintenance on the Jeep including replacing the OPDA, fuel pump, plugs, coil pack, rad flush, temp sensors etc. I"ve also replaced most of the rubber lines in the evap. and fuel systems.
This Jeep runs like a brand new vehicle and I would not hesitate to drive it across the country again. Only selling b/c I have too many toys. I just got a 90-day smog. Located in Claremont, CA which is about 30 miles east of LA. Asking $21k obo.
